Avoid renting the wrong type of equipment by making a realistic assessment of what you require before you place your order. Start with describing the job at hand, then matching the machinery or tool to the task. 

Consider these elements before you talk to your vendor:

  • What is your scope of work? Assess precisely what your job entails. Know whether you plan to clear the surface, excavate, or remove debris. 
  • Will you need to break hard rock or shovel sand? The better you know your project, the better you can shop for the right rental machinery. 
  • Know the precise details of the project so you can bring the right equipment and attachment tools too.
  • Identify any special equipment required for the job. You’ll need the right attachment, such as rakes, augers, and hammers.
  • Accurately assess your rental duration.
  • Can you use multi-role machinery, such as a compact track loader that accepts multiple work tool attachments?
